PreSonus, makers of Studio One, have announced the latest update to Studio One 3, which now includes a plug-in manager as part of the Studio One 3 Browser.

Additions to the Browser

The recent 3.1 update includes a handful of small but very useful refinements in the browser. They are mostly to do with improved organization- you can now add plugins to favorites, hide plugins, and manage plugin folders from within the program.

Create Folders in the Plugin List

Right click anywhere in the plugin browser (Folder View) and choose New Folder. Give it a name and click/drag plugins into it. A very nifty way of organizing an overpopulated plugin menu.

Favorites / Hide plugins

Right clicking on a plugin allows you to either add it to Favorites or Hide the plugin from view. Favorited plugins appear with a small star beside, and also show up in the Favorites folder. Hidden plugins disappear from the list, however you can always re-show hidden plugins using the brand new “Manage Plugins” view. Speaking of which…
